Material Recycling
The practice of using recycled sub-base materials within construction is continuing to gain increased market acceptance, not only in response to environmental pressures but also as a result of the clear financial benefits.
Our ability to recyclematerial on-site offers the constructor the added advantage of using material for construction where it stands, providing immediate economies in terms of materials, disposal costs and transport, as well as the added values of being environmentally friendly.
With the issue of recycling now at the forefront of all major building projects, Rubble Recycling’s experience and expertise in the supply of recycled material places it - and customers - ahead of the competition.
Recycling Process
SITE DEMOLITION
Landfill taxes have dramatically increased the cost of disposing of materials from site and will continue to do so. Rubble Recycling’s has the ability to reduce these costs and create materials with enhanced value.
HAZARDOUS WASTE
Materials considered to be a danger to health or environment are extracted prior to the recycling process to avoid contamination and disposed of in the correct manner.
ON-SITE RECYCLING
Rubble Recycling Ltd.’s experience of on-site processing makes commercial sense reducing potential traffic problems and providing on-site material supply.
WOOD AND METAL
Wood and metal waste can be extracted by a number of processes including magnets and hand selection. Metal provides a scrap return and the concrete and brick can be processed free of impurities, making a first class material.
SOILS
Soils extracted fromthe re-cycling process are clean and free fromcontamination. They may remain on-site or be used within other projects with a saving on landfill taxes and disposal costs.
BRICK AND CONCRETE
Brick and concrete provide the most valuble products. Both can be crushed to a customer’s specification within stringent industry standards thus replacing new materials which are far more expensive.
CONSTRUCTION SITE
Rubble Recycling can help to supply on-site construction programmes. Inclusion of re-cyclingmaterial can provide both economies and PR opportunities and can assist in the planning application process.
